Program provides minority cannabis business owners with resources
The Black CannaBusiness CEO Intensive Program held their first in-person sessions in Boston. The training sessions gave cannabis executives resources to learn more about different aspects of managing a successful and growing business. The information spans from finances to marketing, customer experience, and risk management There will also be six weeks of online courses that will continue until June 2nd. Black CannaBusiness Magazine developed the program and receive support from their founding partner, Parallel, who owns New England Treatment Access in Massachusetts.
According to the Black CannaBusiness CEO Intensive Program website the goal is that upon completion of the program all graduates are equipped with the business plans, knowledge, network and know how to scale their businesses into ones that reflects their potential. The program is available only to minority cannabis business owners that have been in business for at least 2 years. The program includes 65 total hours including mandatory in person workshops. The Boston cohort is the first of four that the group will conduct nationwide.
