Candidate for New Hampshire Governor visits cultivation facility
Democratic candidate for New Hampshire Governor Dr. Tom Sherman is showing voters that he supports efforts to legalize marijuana in the Granite State. Dr. Tom Sherman visited Ayr Wellness in Milford Massachusetts to take a tour of their cannabis cultivation facility. Dr. Sherman is gastroenterologist that has served two terms as a state representative and two terms as a state senator challenging incumbent Republican Chris Sununu.
Photographs of his visit show the candidate handling trimmed marijuana buds and gazing into rows of growing cannabis plants. During his visit Dr. Sherman says he discussed how he believes legalization of marijuana strengthens workforce, communities, and the economy. New Hampshire legalized medical marijuana in 2013 and decriminalized possession of less than ¾ of an ounce (21.26 grams) of cannabis in 2017.
