REVIEW: Cappachino Flower Strain Developed by Cappadonna of Wu Tang Clan
If you grew up in the 90’s smoking cannabis, being able to smoke a strain developed in coordination with the Wu Tang Clan’s Cappadonna is both exciting and nostalgic. At NEC News Today we try to review products that are talked about positively online, and also those that evoke positive feelings. Smoking with the Wu Tang Clan is a dream of many cannabis consumers, but the strain Cappachino is an excellent substitute if you don’t know the members enough that they would sesh with you. The dispensary Resinate partnered up with Cappadonna to create this strain. With some nostalgia and Wu Tang playing in our vehicle, we picked up the strain at a local Massachusetts cannabis shop and proceeded to see if this strain was indeed worth the Wu Tang Clans approval.
Cappachino is a purple strain with a deep purple color and a sweet smell and flavor that reminded us of the great purple strains of old that emerged out of the San Francisco Bay Area in the 90’s and 00’s. The buds in the package we received were all excellent size and covered in trichomes. The buds smelled sweet like a lavender and once ground up and rolled, a puff on the unlit joint gave some undertones of licorice as well. The buds were not overly dry and broke up easily to roll up. One could actually see purple through the rolling paper because of how purple the flower was. This is the perfect bud for people who like to smoke large joints or several times a day. Smoking several joints of the flower was an absolute pleasure with very little cough, dryness, or heaviness to the smoke. This is the kind of flower you can smoke and smoke without any negative impacts and a very nice buzz. Because the strain is heavy indica, it created a very mellow stone and was very relaxing after a long day. The joints smoked always tasted like the purps all the way to the end. This strain is going to be one of our go to purple strains moving forward. This is definitely one of the best purple strains in terms of flavor, smell, and overall experience we have found in Massachusetts so far. Cappadonna of Wu Tang Clan did an excellent job of locating a purple strain with Resinate that is easy to roll up and smoke large quantities of the product. We have great respect for Cappadonna and the Wu Tang Clan, and Cappahcino is definitely worth buying and consuming. If you’re looking for a heavy indica, that is easy to smoke, has a great flavor, and will kindle feelings of nostalgia for the good old days, definitely check this strain out. You will not be disappointed.
Resinate also wholesales, so check your local Massachusetts cannabis dispensary and see if they are carrying the strain.
