Lab says investigators displayed improper behavior during drop in

Michael Kahn, the CEO of Massachusetts cannabis testing facility MCR Labs, recently wrote a letter to the Cannabis Control Commission to express his dissatisfaction with how their investigative staff behaved during an unannounced inspection of his Framingham facility that occurred this month. According to the letter a group of eight Commission investigators arrived to the lab on March 21st and proceeded to act in a way that was, “unprofessional”, “inappropriate”, that subjected employees of the labs to “harassment and imitation”. For example, one MCR Labs employee reported having their personal personal space violated by one investigator that was physically touching her. In response to the letter the Cannabis Control Commission defended their investigative staff and denied the claims but did vow to take a look into the incident due to the seriousness of the situation.
