Massachusetts cannabis pesticide seminars held virtually this March
The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR), the state agency responsible for regulating how pesticides are used in the Commonwealth, will host webinars in March with the Cannabis Control Commission to update growers on the latest pesticide rules for cannabis and hemp. Pesticide Basics 101 will take place on March 7th between 10am and 12pm and the Introduction to Worker Protection Standard is happening on March 8th between 1pm and 3pm. The rules around pesticides and cannabis changed in December 2022 when MDAR updated its policies to allow for the use of certain EPA approved pesticides. Attendees are asked to sign up to attend the webinar. The registration links are available on the Cannabis Control Commission website.
