Police in Maine and Massachusetts find suspects breaking into dispensaries

A group of men are allegedly responsible for dispensary break-ins that happened in Rowley, MA and Berwick, ME. Police say video footage from Cape Ann Cannabis in Rowley show masked individuals getting out of a white vehicle and using a hammer to gain entry. Merchandise that was taken included vape pen batteries and a metal cash drawer.

In Maine, Berwick police Capt. Jerry Locke believes these are the same individuals responsible for the recent break-in at the Kind Farms Reserve dispensary in his town. Captain Locke pursued a small white vehicle leaving Kind Farms Reserve after finding the front door broken and the alarm ringing.

Massachusetts State Police later located the vehicle in Haverhill along Route 495 and apprehended four men. One of the men arraigned in Newburyport District Court is facing charges of breaking and entering, malicious destruction of property less than $1,200, and having burglarious tools.
