As someone who dabs frequently in Massachusetts it has been challenging over the years to maintain a steady supply of high quality solventless cannabis concentrate without making a trip up to Maine. The majority of the concentrates in Massachusetts just aren’t that good and are overpriced which is likely why we see concentrates sales lag other states in the data. However, the new Flan product released by Blue River is a game changer for Massachusetts and its solventless concentrate scene. Finding the Grapetella is still somewhat challenging with only nine dispensaries carrying it so far in various regions around the state. For my part, I traveled over 45 minutes in rain to obtain the Grapetella Flan in a 2 gram bucket from CNA Stores in Haverhill. CNA Stores is a veteran owned company and it was fully stocked with Blue River’s latest product release. The experience was very pleasant overall at the dispensary and I definitely want to show my support for veteran owned cannabis dispensaries.
The Review
From start to finish the flan experience feels high end. The blue packaging is simple but presents great information on everything from the temperature to store the product and how much to use at one time. Opening the top of the container one is met with an overwhelming grape smell that is nothing short of amazing. The flan itself looks wet and like something one can show off at a party or family gathering. All that is needed is a very small dab to achieve potent effects. The high level of terps in this product is off the charts. Upon exhale, the dab tastes like grape candy with no taste of chemicals at all. This could be one of the best concentrates I’ve ever had in my life. The stone is very heady because of the high cannabinoid content. The product is easy to work with a traditional dabber and does not require any special antics to get a great dab. While I was skeptical of this being a “super concentrate”, after experiencing the Grapetella Flan for several days in a row as part of my normal concentrate regimen, I can say this is definitely something special. I look forward to dabbing the Grapetella and I can’t say that for most of the concentrates I buy in Massachusetts. Definitely seek this one out if you love dabbing, you will not be disappointed.
