At the time of writing this review, New England is in the throes of winter and under a winter weather advisory. Trying to escape my predicament here and letting my imagination go wild, I dreamed about being by a pool sipping a margarita in a tropical paradise far away from the sleet and snow. Understanding that I am stuck here for the time being, I sought out an escape, a beverage that would bring me back to the summer. Cannarita was the product I found. Novel beverage co, located in Salisbury, Massachusetts has developed a THC infused watermelon flavored margarita mocktail that is everything needed for an escape to a warm summer day. As soon as I saw this product, I knew I had to have it, and so I picked one up to try and enjoy.
The Review
What can I say but that this product is absolutely needed in the Massachusetts cannabis market. Novel beverages determined to use a can to house the margarita liquid and I am all for it. Opening the can itself was an interesting experience, I tried to take some photos of how to open it below. The beverage and its logo on the can is very simple and easy to understand. It became apparent that this drink is made with cane sugar when I was reading the label so I became even more excited. Most of the drinks I’ve tried that have cannabis in them so far do not use sugar. I was very pleased to see that this was the case.
The pink watermelon flavored liquid is fizzy and delicious. Any flavor of cannabis is covered up by the sweet flavor of the margarita. I would have no problem downing 3-4 of these over the course of an afternoon. Each can contains 5mg of THC. The drink transported me back to a warmer time and warmer place for sure. This product will be amazing in the summer, but it is also amazing in the winter to transport one’s self to a tropical paradise. Put on some Jimmy Buffet and waste away in Cannaritaville.
