Cannabis is changing in Massachusetts. One women owned and women led company named Edie Parker is making a name for themselves with their unique branded products themed towards a luxury buyer. In my search to try something new this week, I came across a curiously colored striped box from Edie Parker that reminded me of a boutique hotel in Beverly Hills or a beachfront luxury resort in Palm Beach. This box contained two half gram joints with a strain Happiest Hour as the main event. Peaking my interest, I picked up one to give it a try.
After picking up the pre-rolls, the packaging was both eye catching and luxurious. The pinkish and green hues of the stripes one the box definitely give off a boutique vibe. The branding of Edie Parker is spot on with the luxury market and the packaging backed that up. Upon opening the box, one is met with two plastic pre-roll containers that actually contain the joints. I found this impressive. Upon opening the plastic containers, the smell of cannabis flower filled the air. These pre-rolls were made with decent flower and dry hitting the joint it tasted like a tasty and fruity strain. Through the paper itself the flower looked like it had some purple hues which added to the boutique feel.
Lighting up these joints was easy and they were the exact size needed when I used them. In particular, the small size is convenient if you’re a patient on the go and need to quickly medicate. They burned even and it tasted like they used high quality flower to make the pre-rolls. The smoke was not too harsh and it tasted great. The filter they used was a red color with flowers similar to their logo all over it. What I liked most about this product was that it feels like someone seriously considered what the consumer would want and they focused on creating a memorable experience for the consumer. Overall I would definitely recommend this product. It may be a great gift also because of its memorable appearance and its high quality. We need to see more Edie Parkers in the cannabis industry.
