This week I had been hearing really good things about INSA cannabis flower online and wanted to finally try some for the first time. Luck would have it that I lived near a dispensary that had some available in stock. I ended up selecting the Runtz strain based on quite a number of reviews online. Upon returning home I was delighted to see the interesting packaging and settled in to take a hit.
The Review
INSA selected their packaging based on keeping the product fresh. Once removing the child resistant plastic top, I could see they used a sealed metal easy ring pull lid to keep the product fresh. The lid was easy to open and the aroma of the Runtz was immediate upon unsealing. I’m a fan of purple strains and this INSA Runtz Premium Flower is definitely a good representation of one. Hints of grape meet pineapple with nice floral and fruity notes with this flower. The buds themselves are very visually appealing with some of them displaying a deep purple color with beautiful white crystals covering everything. If you like purps, this is going to be for you.
Smoking the Runtz was a real pleasure. The dry hit off the joint tasted amazing, and the joint burned evenly once lit. The grape overtones with a skunky finish really dominates the smoke flavor. One thing I also enjoyed about smoking INSA’s runtz was the lung expansion. I enjoy a good cough to expand my lung capacity and this strain does the trick. The high quality of the bud comes through even with the expansion in the lungs. The bud breaks up beautifully and when it is run through a grinder it definitely looks purple. Hitting it out of a water pipe was also well fantastic with the bud not burning to quickly. Overall I give INSA’s Runtz very high marks, and recommend it for those looking for a premium purple strain that lives up to the hype.
