This week I was determined to find a vape cart that was actually worth buying and consuming for me to review. I’m not particularly fond of vaporizer cartridges because they often are made of distillate and non-cannabis terpenes. Upon locating one of the vapes at my local cannabis dispensary, I headed out to pick up and try the product.
The Review
The packaging of the vape cart was very clever with an overlay of our local Boston subway tunnels. The box packaging contained a small sealed plastic tube inside which actually contained the vape cart, ensuring its safety during transport. Once removed from the box and tube the vaporizer cartridge had a black tip with the golden product within.
Once my vape battery was fully charged, I removed the silicone end pieces and began using it lightly at first to see how it tasted. Immediately I could sense this was not like other vapes I have experienced. The flavor was crisp with notes of citrus and sweet undertones upon exhale. The vape clouds were large, smooth, and did not cause me to cough. I used about 20% of the vape cart overall to ensure it still tasted terpy after several uses. The terps on this vape were amazing even after extended use and it definitely made me rethink my feelings on using vaporizers. Olio and the Harbor House Collective know what they’re doing with live rosin. The golden and translucent oil in the cart itself showed no impurities and was filled up close to the top with the oil. The Animal Pie Live Rosin Cart is truly flavor town. Convenient, portable, consistent, and clearly well done, this line of live rosin vape carts is exactly what New England needs right now.
