With the weather finally becoming warmer in New England we had a hankering for some spring and summer cannabis treats to get things started. We had heard really good things about Cloud Creamery and also had the opportunity to try a sample of their non-infused ice cream during the recent New England Cannabis Convention. With that in mind we set out to locate the product which was a bit challenging. The closest outlet for the product to us was Western Front in Chelsea, Massachusetts. So we headed out and found our way to the dispensary.
The Review
This product was well worth the journey we took to get it. While only 5mg per package is because of Massachusetts law, the edible tasted amazing, was well presented, and was perfect to consume on a warm day here in New England. The vegan strawberry shortcake ice cream came in 4.5 oz containers and had a nice sorbet like texture to it that included a delicious strawberry crunch on top. Packaging was professional with a nice pink color and it was the perfect size for the frozen treat. As an extra touch with our order we received small cold temperature sensitive color changing plastic spoons with the Western Front logo. The product was fresh and the strawberry flavor was very natural tasting with no perceivable cannabis aftertaste. This is literally the perfect treat for a warm day by the pool. We could easily eat more than one in a sitting without hesitation. Great for cannabis gatherings at home, or family and friend get togethers. It will definitely be the talk of the party. Massachusetts edibles have certainly improved over the past few years and Cloud Creamery is clearly a local leader in the space with this product.
