Trade Roots Live J1 Hash Plant Badder (Captain's Reserve)

REVIEW: Trade Roots Live J1 Hash Plant Badder

This week I wanted to find some award winning concentrate to try and thankfully it was not hard to find some. The Terpdown Throwdown Hometown Cannabis Awards had just happened and I learned that a social equity applicant Trade Roots won third place for one of their extracts. The J1 Hash Plant hybrid strain was Jack Herer x Skunk #1 x 88 G13 Hashplant. Being a huge fan of the Jack strain, I set out to purchase the product and head home to consume it.

The Review

Trade Roots has developed a home run with this particular strain and product. The packaging of the product is fantastic with a small box reminiscent of a box you would place jewelry inside prominently displaying that this is Captain’s Reserve. The interior of the box contains the product and a helpful fold out informational booklet that contains information including the terpene testing profile. The attention to detail was very evident in how everything was presented by Trade Roots.

The aroma of the live badder is definitely not going to disappoint even the pickiest of cannabis consumers. With a deep delicious sweet piney smell and taste, the Jack Herer strain is definitely the most prominent part of the experience. This Jack strain in my opinion should be a staple in the industry because of its recognizable flavor and smell. Trade Roots picked the perfect strain to produce this beautiful extract. The color is a beautiful golden color and the consistency is very wet likely because of the high terpene levels. Each dab was amazing and I found myself looking forward to dabbing just so I could experience the flavor again. The dabs were not harsh at all. Trade Roots clearly knows what they’re doing in the manufacturing department. I for one will be picking up this strain from them whenever I see it, and will also try the other flavors they offer in the near future.
