Rhode Island company sues DEA over research permit

MMJ BioPharma Cultivation Inc has applied for a license from the DEA to become one of the first bulk manufacturers of cannabis for federal research purposes. The company located in Rhode Island has recently filed a federal lawsuit against the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) for taking so long to issue the license. According to MMJ BioPharma Cultivation representatives their company is focused on making capsules for patients with multiple sclerosis and Huntington’s disease.
