Sarah G. Kim named Interim Chair of Cannabis Commission
On May 9th Massachusetts State Treasurer Deborah Goldberg appointed her General Counsel to serve as the Interim Chair of the Cannabis Control Commission. Sarah G. Kim has worked for the Treasurer since 2015 and will now fill the seat recently vacated by former Chairman Steve Hoffman.
“Sarah has extensive leadership experience and knowledge about the standards, goals, and operations of the Commission, as well as perspective on necessary steps as we progress in the implementation of good policies in Massachusetts,” said State Treasurer Deborah B. Goldberg. Sarah also serves as Deputy Treasurer which gives her general oversight of the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission.
Before joining Treasurer Deborah Goldberg’s team Ms. Kim worked as an Assistant Attorney General under Martha Coakley.
