Consumers and patients can buy seeds at dispensaries in Massachusetts

Cannabis seeds now available at Massachusetts dispensaries

The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission announced this week that cannabis seeds are now available at dispensaries. While clones have been available for sale for more than a year in Massachusetts cannabis cultivators can now obtain seeds from a facility that is licensed by the Commission. According to the announcement there is no limitation on the number of seeds that can be sold. Consumers are limited to six cannabis plants in a home, or up to 12 plants in households with more than one person over age 21. Patients may grow up to 12 vegetative plants and 12 flowering plants. One store with seeds currently on the shelf is Ascend in Newton. A six pack of Cinnamon Buddha feminized seeds is listed for $20.
