Rhode Island's sixth cannabis dispensary opens

Sweetspot becomes Rhode Island’s 6th hybrid dispensary

Earlier this year Sweetspot started offering home delivery of medical cannabis to patients living in Rhode Island. The business operated a South Kingston facility but could not sell marijuana onsite as the business did not have all of the local permits to do so. Sweetspot was recently granted a cannabis license by the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation to operate a hybrid dispensary in Exeter that will allow patients and consumers to purchase cannabis products on-site. The dispensary opened on Tuesday December 20th becoming the sixth hybrid dispensary to sell marijuana in Rhode Island.

Located at 526 South County Trail in Exeter Sweetspot is the only dispensary currently operating in South County. The dispensary was welcomed with many customers on their first day who wanted to visit the site to make a purchase. The business is open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 7pm. Sweetspot has also confirmed that they will continue to offer home delivery to medical marijuana patients.
